Leave it to the Christians to threaten violence against anyone who doesn’t view the world in exactly the same way they do.
Many religions frown upon people who are homosexual, or who have non-heterosexual inclinations. However, it is usually the Muslims and/or Christians who call for outright violence against them.
Grayson Fritts, who was a detective with the Knox County Tennessee Sheriff’s office, is a typical Christian pastor. He preaches to his congregation that the police are sanctioned by God to arrest and execute LGBTQ people. He cites the Bible at Leviticius 20:13 as validation and authority for his statement.
His church is called the All Scripture Baptist Church and its website states the church is an “independent, fundamental King James Bile only, soul-winning church. Don’t expect anything liberal, watered down, or contemporary here.”
